Investing in Bulgaria
Bulgaria is a stable parliamentary democracy that combines impressive economic growth with low inflation. Its strategic location at the crossroads of South Eastern Europe (between Russia and Turkey) makes it a gateway to a number of important markets and that is attracting inward investment from many multi-national companies who are keen to establish a presence in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria's currency, the Leva, is linked to the Euro which provides exchange rate stability and joined the EU in January 2007. Bulgaria is now widely regarded as one of the most stable and attractive investment opportunities amongst the emerging countries of Eastern Europe.
Bulgaria's travel and tourism sector has grown rapidly and the Super Borovets Project, begun in November 2007, is sure to bring a significant rise in popularity of the surrounding area as a major European Ski Destination.
